Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Contest

Dropped two scripts in this year. Neither made the quarterfinals.

Bummer. One is a slightly reimagined version of my script that took 2nd (sitcom category) in Fresh Voices a ways back. Not too surprised on that one, as the reimagining was a bit rushed and still unfinished.

The other was WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR, my latest feature. I'm proud of that script, and can't believe it couldn't even advance one round.

Oh, well. Keep plugging away, right?

Looked for familiar names. Didn't see any. Anyone else enter?

I didn't enter that one this year, but I entered a feature into the Fresh Voices competition and it's in the quarter finals so I'm happy with that. Also Slayfest from a recent OWC is in the semi-finals and top 25 of the Table Read My Screenplay genre competition.

I have never played in that sandbox - wasn't sure I was "fresh" enough at my ripe old age
