The Logline needs a revamp to make sense.
The writing (I read to page 5) is actually quite poetic and aymospheric considering I can hazard a good guess the writer is of NESB.
Quite a few writers on this site with English not as their first language have gone on to success.
Definitely film-noir in style and I'm guessing femme fatale as the antagonist.
No contact details, copyright, etc., on the title page.
I hope the Writer chimes in.
