Back in 2013 we had a Seven Week Challenge.  Stephen's (SteveUK) -  script, Bad Connection was one of those scripts.  Stephen writes, "...it started life as part of a 7WC..."

'Bad Connection' follows a down-on-her-luck waitress, played by Dana Davis (“Prom Night” “The Morning Show”, “The Rookie”) who discovers a snuff film on the stolen cell phone she purchased. She soon finds herself on the run from a methodical madman played by Chris Gann (“For all Mankind”, “The Valet”) hellbent on getting it back, and willing to destroy anyone who stands in his way.

Yeah, the director got a writing credit because he gave the script a rewrite before filming. He basically had to change all the expensive set-pieces I'd written because they would have trebled the budget  ;D  which meant the ending had to be completely changed  :-/

No news on how or when it will be released yet, although I think it's supposed to be some time over the summer.

I just realized that this script started out in a 7WC. That actually makes it two scripts from that challenge that has sold. Dena has sold her script Dead Cell twice! 8)

If it was, that was the only 7WC I entered, and I literally just finished my comedy feature from it last week. :)
