Just watched the trailer for the Netflix adaptation of Mr. Harrigan's Phone (a short from If it Bleeds). Donald Sutherland plays Mr. Harrigan and it looks quality! Airing October 5th on Netflix (not sure if it'll be the same release date in Oz).

Loved this story, but felt it was way too short. It should have been a novel in my opinion.

Trailer looks great and for the few minutes you see it looks pretty faithful to the sorce material. Like with every King adaptaion, I'm cautiously optimistic. Either way they nailed the casting.

I watched this a couple of nights ago. I liked it a lot. It looked and felt really high quality. Like something intended for the big screen and not TV. I liked the book a lot too and think they did a great job with the adaptation. I've seen people online bitch and moan because it wasn't scary enough and how they liked IT better. What idiots, is all I have to say. Anyone familiar with SK knows he's far from just a horror writer. Except for certain works of his, I almost think of him more as a drama writer with dark undertones. Anyway, if you liked the book, I'm pretty sure you will like this film.

Always great to see Donald Sutherland. I've loved him, as an actor, since I first saw Kelly's Heroes!!!  :D

Very well done and true to original content. I wonder, since I've read the short story, if viewers would find it a slow burn or even boring? I knew what was coming but if you didn't know, it could be very plodding. Regardless, worth the watch.

And, yes, I still see Donald Sutherland as Eight-Ball to this day.

Saw the trailer couple days ago and put this on my to watch list. I didn’t realize that was Donald Sutherland, but now that I do it goes way up, IMO! Love DS, love King too.
