Loved this piece of juvenile hilarity. Though from the first two/ three sentences i thought I was going to get bored very quickly. Screaming and strobe lighting on the TV for me, says turn the fucking channel over! I cannot abide that sort of thing.

WTF is Bob Barker? British reader - sorry.

This screenplay works for me because it has quite a lot to digest with the mirror lectures and the transitions. it was very well written and easy to follow.

I wont say anymore because of spoilers.

But well done. Keep writing, buddy.

Hey Stoneyscript,

Thank you kindly for the feedback, glad you enjoyed this little piece of depravity, lol.

Yeah, I guess growing up as a teenager in the 80s most of those coming-of-age films such as ‘Fast Times’ and of course all the John Hughes films (especially Weird Science) tended to corrupt my mind forever, that being, I always tend to write scripts with goofy 80s tropes in them, especially when dealing with parody and dream sequences.

This is probably every hot-blooded, hormone-raging teen-boy’s ultimate fantasy… being able to see into every other mirror in existence; imagine if you will the perverse possibilities, lol. But I also wanted to simply script it as a typical high school kid, Jesse (a nerdy teen) just wanting/needing a girlfriend and have the Universe intervene by forcing him to stumble into a relationship with, well… a nerdy girl.

Bob Barker?

He hosted CBS's The Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007, making it the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history. That being said, any game-show parody would never be complete without Bob and that cool looking long skinny-ass microphone he used to carry about on stage.  8)

Thanks again for the read, let me know if you have any scripts that you’d like some feedback on, I’d be happy to oblige, cheers for now…

I totally get it man. "We had The Price Is Right" here too. An adaptation of yours hosted by Lesley Crowther. ha!

Yes I thought it was an eighties parody trip.

Anyways, I wouldn't mind a read of The Blue Room when you have a window.

It is a sinister little horror of sorts.

Good luck man.
