Loved it. I was gripped the whole way through. Everything was so raw and real, it was beautiful.

It would honestly be a travesty if this is not made.

Needs another quick proof read (There were a couple of random numbers on their own line, and at one point I think you use DYLAN'S BEDROOM instead of JULIANS BEDROOM.

Jason, it would be easier for me just to copy and paste Matthew's words above (since I'm still wiping tears and having trouble typing this).  This was just....beautiful....and heart wrenching.  A showcase of love and regret.  I don't know if a younger person could appreciate what happens on the pages of your script or not without the perspective of years that teach it to you.  I get it.  So very well done.

I thought your slugs and set-ups were also well done and really set the mood and atmosphere for this short.
Thank you so much for sharing this here.  I wish you nothing but the best with this and that it finds its way to the right person who can reproduce it adequately on the screen.  Now dammit, where's that tissue?

ETA:  I wanted to come back and also comment that I loved that you quoted E.E. Cummings.  I was familiar with the verses, but had to actually find who wrote them.  A favorite of mine is T. S. Eliot.  I have used pieces of his work in one of my screenplays as well as Robert Burns in another.  As a writer I have a love affair with words, some of theirs are the best and deserve to be brought to life to a generation who may never have heard them.  

Yes, ditto that of Matthew and Kathy! This is very poignant. Kept expecting to see how Glenn lost his life, but no matter as it wasn’t really important. He was a good man and that’s all we need to know. Also interesting was how you didn’t let on to what Tim’s occupation was, but just let us find out for ourselves.

My only gripe was how Renee left with nothing in this deal, except a broken heart times two. I’m sure Tim was upset on some level, but he’s got a life to go back to. Renee has a child, yes, but was sort of a downer for her, imo. So, the only thing I’d like to see here is Renee’s arc to have a ray of sunshine somewhere. Something that tells us, in spite of the circumstances, she’s gonna be all right.

Otherwise, we’ll crafted and enjoyable. Solid work.
