and here we go again with politics...

why can't we let politics and religion out of this place. I'm sure there are other better websites for this than a screenwriting site.

I love you all, but if you get really political here, I might change my opinion about you... Is that really what you want on this SCREENWRITING site?

I could say the same thing about all the other useless topics that I feel are pointless on this forum but I don't because I realized a long time ago the rules have nothing about topics and threads you don't like and can delete them as you see fit.

Exactly what I meant although some people do post things related to screenwriting here and they have to be moved.

I know you can post anything in General Chat, but why insist on doing politics all the time. It's not the first time you're doing this but if you love it so much go ahead. I just think there are websites better suited for it.

My problem with this particular thread is that I actually watched that show. Who else did? That's why I said earlier "nice editing".  My point is that anyone, even me can take any show, news, info and edit it in such a way that it says whatever suits my agenda best.

What really scares me is when people turn to YouTube of all places and spread vids as if they are fact. I'm a news hound. I read newspapers from the left all the way to the right and this kind of shit where people yank stuff off YouTube and present it as fact just to stir people up annoys me.

And as far as truth and facts go, even wikipedia isn't all that accurate. Anyone can add things there, but just about everyone take everything there as hard fact and the truth.

Peace!

That sounds remarkably similar to what usually comes out of O'Reilly's mouth.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com is a good spot for politics, not so good for screenwriting.

It is interesting, however, to see how Non-Americans view Fox News, as a disturbingly large segment of the US believe every word that is said, regardless of any bearing on truth or fact.

I think Bill O offers entertaining commentary as well as factual insite on many subjects but he is not perfect by any means.

He is however the most popular cable talk show in America. He is doing something right.
