Thank god for that, I hate Oasis!! Besides they haven't released a decent tune for years now anyway. |

Not surprising, but personally I liked Oasis.
Here's hoping the Jonas Brothers split up. |
| Isle 10- A series I'm currently writing with my friend Adam and it will go into production soon. Think The Office meets 10 Items or Less.

Have to agree with that. Mind you, first two albums bordered on genius. Absolute shame they didn't develop. Never give working class lads money. It ruins 'em. |

They're one of my favorite bands but their career was sort of fading out anyway.
Their ten best songs stand up against any bands of the last 20 years. |

Never again will you see a band reach the same heights as the Beatles. The music industry doesn't work that way anymore. It's all itunes and bands that are one minute wonders. You simply won't see bands stay at the top of the music heap for ten or more albums straight ever again. Even though bands like Pearl Jam and U2 are still going they don't dominate the music video shows or the radio and they're certainly not loved by the vast majority of teenagers. |

I never really cared much for Oasis, but they did have some solid songs. It's a shame they're splitting up.

I thought people would be angry when you hate on Oasis which is why I made my comment. Now that we are free to speak, I really hate the music. They may be gods and legends to some people but to me they are just a band who I do not like. |

Well, they haven't written a decent song for over thirteen years. That's a long time. However when they arrived, at least in Manchester, it was a stellar deal. They were something. And everybody loved them. That's something I hadn't seen before, and it's yet to be repeated. Credit where its due here - Oasis were special. Once upon a time. |

I must say I was more a fan of their off stage antics than I was of their music. |

Indeed Chris. They once did a CD called 'Wibbling Rivalry' which was basically a conversation between Stan and Ollie and a journalist called John Harris. Far more entertaining than most of their albums. How sad is that. I preferred the kangaroo with the pint than the plastic Tarantino by the way CR. |

I'm surprised they made it as far as they did. Their sibling rivalry has always seemed to hold them back. I would've thought they'd split years ago. Oh well. Decent music, I suppose, but the music industry needs less crybabies, even if they did produce a few laughs with their antics. |
