This being an equal opportunity board, I thought I would bring up Bambi 2, the sequel to the beloved classic.

The sequel sees the legendary deer reuniting with her father. Thumper, Flower and Faline will also be back, whilst the sequel will introduce new characters, including Thumper's rambunctious sisters.

Also, Patrick Steward will be voicing Bambi's Father.

And Disney profanes another classic with another Disney formula sequel where the star or the star's child will go on some big adventure to "find themselves" with the help of their friends and inadvertently bring the family closer together with a predictable "I love you dad" or "I'm sorry I was such an ass you guys" at the end sending the blue-haired old ladies into tears cause it's just so beautiful.

Does Disney need the money that badly? Does the world need a sequel to Bambi that badly? Can't Disney build secret credibility by changing all the names and touting it as original? Nah, no one would watch it because it's all straight-to-video tripe.

Pardon my outburst, but I love sequels, and Disney's nonsense only serves to give sequels a really bad name.

Let's not go back to Cinderella 2. I never watched the video, but the trailer was bad enough.

"Someday I'll get this princess thing right."

"I think that day is today."

*shiver*
