It's offical, I'm moving to Hollywood and going on a killing spree . I dont mind sequels but it has to be with in reason. Things like Dawn of the Dead2, Big Mamas House 2, This peice of cra.p... things that have NO potental as a good film are being made and it pisses me off. Sequals to films like scream and american pie make kind of sense but some things are just nuts!
yeah that makes me really bad... considering the first one is based on a book and there is no second book i dont think its neccessary to have a second movie. Plus, the first one ended perfectly in my opinion.
Yeah, I don't think they need to do this either. Movies like Star Wars(Original Trilogy. I hate this new one) need sequels because there is a story to tell that you can't finish in one movie.
Unless you have the sequel in mind while filming the first one, why do a sequel? The story was written to have a sequel! I think it's a waste of money to make sequels like this. All this will do is kill the original!
According to Sky News, Pierce Brosnan will reprise his role as the hoity Stuart – Sally Field’s prospective new man in the first film – in “Mrs Doubtfire 2”.
According to star Robin Williams, he isn’t taking no for an answer from the former 007 and if all goes to plan, you’ll see the Irish heartthrob in the sequel, which starts filming early next year. Actress Bonnie Hunt - Williams' co-star in "Jumanji" - worked on the script.
“He was a riot in the first film and we need him for Doubtfire 2”, says Williams, currently appearing in “The Night Listener”, of good friend Brosnan.-moviehole

Though earth and man are gone, I thought the cube would last forever. I WAS WRONG.
I can't see it doing very great. It seems as a one hit wonder. You can't make a second. It's something that really only happens once so It ONLY happens once.
Ugh. Mrs. Doubtfire was a good movie, yes, but there is no plot room for a sequel. M.D. Was about a man who dressed as an english nanny to see his children.
Now, 13 years later, the kids will be grown up, and they could see him when ever they wanted.
What could the second possibly be about? Robin Williams just liked the way the panty hose clinged to him so he decides to be a woman? WTF?
Last time I checked they wanted a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel...not a Transamerica one...
