I think a ghost in a machine has been done before, but it might be a fun flick to watch. Does make me want to see if Netflix has the Japanese version...it sure does, and I put it on my list.
However, curses to high speed internet. I moused-over that banner at the top and jumped when my computer all of a sudden screamed at me with this creepy face just there. Damn it, it's 1:00 in the morning over here, I wanted to go to bed. Now, I'll be seeing that face all night. Time for some pre-recorded AFV.

Oh yeah that American Haunting banner. I rolled my mous over it because I thought it was going to play a trailer, but instead that face screamed at me. I didn't jump or anything, all I did was play around with it, and easily got amused by it. I seriously think I'm getting ADD...
Well, I discovered I had recorded Michael Palin's Personal Best off of PBS last month, so I watched that. I had just moused-over the banner and expected a trailer, but was taken aback by the face. But in my case, I just moved into a new house last week and I'm still a bit jumpy from all the noises it makes, most notably it sounding like someone is breathing INSIDE the fireplace occasionally, and then like someone tapping on the walls of the flue pipe when it rains. It's exceptionally creepy.
I just started freshman year (okay so it was last year, you wanna fight about it?) and every time I walk into the bathroom near the theater, the air conditioning seriously sounds like the breathing of Darth Vader. No joke. Every time I walk in, I'm afraid I'm gonna get speared by his death light saber...
The Horror Channel reports that the film is going under a few reshoot right now in sunny California and that they were informed that they are changing the ending to become more "audience friendly." If anyone has seen the original, THC sums it up quite nice... it's "uber-bleak". -moviehole.net
