Anyone remember one of the best slasher movies ever made? Glen Morgan does, unfortunately.
Trailer's right over here, and it's a bunch of crap if you ask me. Whose idiotic idea was it...ahh never mind. Judge for yourselves. If you want my opinion watch the original and skip the remake.
That movie scared me for a long time when I was a kid. I wanted to watch it again as an adult, but could never find it, because the title was in Swedish when I saw it, then Guy told me the name and I went out and got two DVDs. I watched it, but it wasn't nearly as scary as I remembered it. In all fairness, I was watching it in the afternoon.
I am definately seeing this one. It looks great in my opinion, but I'm 16, so I wasn't around when the original was made. This is what happens to me. I see the remakes before the originals. The remake of Dawn of the Dead, The Omen, Night of the Living Dead...Oh well, it doesn't disappoint me too much.
Now, the benefit of me seeing this, is that I am able to get into the movies for free now that I work there, and if I am disappointed of the film, then I wouldn't have to worry about wasting any money. I've seen some people as I worked concessions come up to me and complain about how bad the movie was and how they want their money back, and I'm thinking, "Well it's your fault you saw it so why do you deserve your money back? It's not our fault."
But that's just me. I think the trailer looks great. And I hope the movie is even better.
