How do you guys think this is gonna turn out. Early word is that it's pretty damn good. Actually, I haven't read a single negative review yet. I think this will be the surprise horror film of the year. It just looks like a lot of fun.

Here's one the trailers... http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/bdtv/Player.php?id=2496

I get to see a screener on Thursday! Can't wait.

I could've sworn there was another thread for this but I can't seem to find it. Oh well...

Anyway, I'm considering checking this out. After what Paramount did to the original, I actually think this one could use a remake. The 3-D angle sounds fun as well. I can't recall there ever being a full blown horror movie in 3-D, except for maybe Jaws 3-D. I don't really understand why they picked this one in particular to be 3-D. I wouldn't figured something cheesier. Another Gremlins or something. I guess Gizmo's a little too retro for 2009 but one can still dream...

Anyway, should be interesting.

i think anyone who saw journey to the center of the earth in 3d or any recent 'real d' movie they'll be excited for this one! the 3d technology is really surprising me lately and with a full on r rating i think this is going to be a lot of fun. yeah i read all good reviews too! i'm really excited to see this, if the 3d wasn't there it still looks like campy fun but i think this is going to be great in theaters!
