I never saw The Goonies.

I notice on the link you gave it said:

"I don't know if that's possible anymore" he explained. "Maybe if all the parents in the new Goonie movie forbid their kids to play on the internet, that's got to be the plot. You can't go anywhere near a computer or cell phone."

So they're having problems because in the original, they didn't have such technology? Why don't they just say it's set back in time?

They could use that, but I think if one of the families were left homeless because of a house fire or if one of them lost their job and were about to loose the house... A black out even...

Or maybe they just found the map that one of the parents had stashed away.

I don't think just saying you can't use the computer is going to work. They could go to the library and use one there or to someone else's house.

And come to think about it, the ship set sail at the end.
So I'd like to see what it will turn out like.

But Sandra, you gotta rent this movie. You'd like it.

I seen the 1st draft of Goonies 2 - if its the same then goonies fans will be dissapointed as its all related to the characters in Goonies 1 all grown up and having an adventure, no kids in it.

At the moment it looks dull a Hook type thing.

anyway hope they changed it.
