Radiohead frontman's "solo" album is due out soon.  I've had it for a while and I have to say that any Radiohead fans out there will not be dissapointed.

It's a small collection of electronic beats with the typical falsetto Thom has made famous.  The whole album is quite thematic, centered around the environment and government lies.

As in the title track, "the more you try to erase me, the more that I appear."

Seems like a direct challenge to top governments not to stick their heads in the sand concerning the environment and the overwhelming scientific data regarding global warming.

A nice collection of songs that will fit in well with your Radiohead albums.

Grant lee Buffalo, Bono, Ian Mcellian, David Bowie, Freddy Mercury, Tim Booth, Robert Smith, Jarvis Cocker, and a whole host of others were adorning the Falsetto well before that SLOP DONG!

RadioHead had good direction back when they did "THE BENDS" after that... You're lucky to get a good 2 minutes from them. No Surprises was, probably, their last good song... Karma Police was fantastically okay...

Echo and James are both worlds beyond that of RadioHead as bands are concerned.

I kid.  Radiohead is not for all.  This thread is for RADIOHEAD FANS, Balt.  If you don't like them, why post?

I like Radio Head just fine... I think they're amazingly talented. I just don't think they deserve half the praise they get sometimes. Coldplay is the same way... These ANAL LEAKS get all kinds of praise, yet, they're not that good. I mean, they have a "few" varied decent songs but by and large they're a terrible live band, they're 3 chord guys with piano filler...

Radio Head and Coldplay are both bigger than Pulp, Echo and James... yet, they don't harness half the talent.

That's the sad thing here.

The songwriting on OK Computer is much better than The Bends or Pablo Honey. That is their magnum opus. There are some truly great songs on there. They were coming into their own when they made The Bends, but they weren't quite there. It's a good album too, though. I'll be sure to check out Yorke's solo album sometime.

I think he means the Falsetto voice that he (Thom) has, that was made famous by him.

Ok Computer IS thier best but Kid A is just as good.  The beautiful thing is that they didn't corner themselves in into Radiohead music.  They expanded and progressed into new, different music.

Having said that, The Eraser is very similiar to Kid A but without the best parts of Radiohead.

Final:  The Eraser proves that with or without his mates, Thom can make it just fine.

Yes, Kid A is excellent as well. I appreciate the fact that they don't try and do the same thing over and over again.
