Quick request to readers.

With lots of entries and quick-growing threads, it is difficult for moderator eyes to be everywhere.

If you spot a questionable review that goes too far -- or other trouble brewing -- please drop me a PM.  You can copy Don, but he is probably too busy with the actual mechanics of the challenge itself.

Also, if somebody has already posted that a script will not open for whatever reason, there is no need for 5 more "me too" posts.  It is just clutter on the thread.

Thanks.

Jwent, you barstard.

That's me. I think everyone doubts their skills at some point. I'm sure, after reading some of these entries, you're kicking yourself for not entering. Kick yourself one time for me.

Who for? You or the readers? Was it that good? Just post it next week in the shorts section and call it "second guessing my writing skills script" Then let us all tear you a new one and make you feel more confident.

That always works.

No thanks.

  Ha!

An excerpt from my script;

Code

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy...

I had an idea going all week then at 4pm Pacific yesterday, I decided I wanted to do something else. Sorry to say I was still writing at around 8:45 (11:45 EST) so I will probably cringe when I look at it again. Please rip it apart... (as if I had to ask)

Blonde, love the grades you're dolling out.  I think they've ranged from F to C+ so far.

Only one F. Trouble is, none have blown my hair back yet. However, there's still 27 left and I've barely gone a quarter of the way. Always hope and hell, I'm a realist. =)

Thanks, Don!

I just realized I left a huge logistical error in mine. It would be the easiest thing to fix, but it's probably going to get slammed.

I am complete for the night. Even if you put more up tonight, I can hardly see straight and am in no position to properly review anymore. Some good, some not-so good. However, none blew my hair back so I'm still waiting for that true standout. Overall, though, I'm pleased with the entries so far.

And, did anyone else notice that nearly every story had either a priest, alien or angel? I believe there were only two that didn't. Go figure. =)
