Looking for some with experience to collaborate with on a Ring/Grudge type script.  I have an idea for a great script.  I hope to learn something from the project.

If you'd elaborate more on the idea maybe you'd spark some interest.

I've tried something similar before; you shouldn't have too many similarities. Make sure it's something totally unique, or you'll just get flamed.

It would be based up the short novel THE KING IN YELLOW.  The book, after reading it, would drive the person crazy.  I was cooking around some thoughts.  What do you think?

Just based on that description, it seems too much like The Ring.  And I think there was a movie about people who would die after visiting a website.  Never saw it, though.

I agree.

I think that if you want to write something like this; you should steer away from the whole ''after reading/watching'' etc.. concept. This does, as Dogglebe says, makes it seem too much like The Ring.

You might be right, I wrote about 130 pages and sent it to the trash because it wasn't clicking.  Well, I thought it was a good idea.  

I hit a dry spell.  My short called REUNION OF THE LIVING DEAD might be a wash too.
