There's a lot of talk about favourite movies, but what about their opening sequences?
By 'Opening Sequences', I mean the opening credits, or the clip/scene before them. Hopefully that makes sense.
Here's a few of mine to start off...
- Mondays in the Sun - Watchmen - Seven Psychopaths

The Natural. Robert Redford walking along that lonely train station, then sitting on the train before the flashback to him as a boy.
Also...
Miller's Crossing. As soon as the ice clinks in the rocks glass it's probably my favorite opening sequence of all time. Love it.

My top 5, not in order:
Mission: Impossible III. Swordfish. Inglourious Basterds. Magnolia. From Dusk Till Dawn.
It gets a little murky after those, but mostly because there are a lot that I like. |
