Don’t know how many of you watched the Kentucky Derby broadcast this past Saturday, but if you didn’t, Google “Cody’s Wish”. As a writer I was screaming that this needs to be a screenplay. Even NBC labeled it “made for Hollywood”. I have a long history with Thoroughbred racing and have had articles published in “Blood Horse” magazine (the National magazine of horse racing).  I’m sure someone (probably a much better writer) will jump on this. It is a slam dunk “true story” hit  that will draw many with its heart-rending, tear-jerking true story. I’m such a sucker for these type stories. It’s why I write.
