The cartoon series you'll never hear about because everybody hated it... I actually enjoyed it, sure it was watered down for tv but still had the same feel Clerks may have had.

You get 6 episodes on 2 disks, 6 commentaries and Jay and Silent Bob in character introduce each episode. There are a few features about how they created the characters in animation but not like Kevins other dvd's. This one is a little disappointing but a gem nonetheless for View Askew fans.

Took me awhile to get it and I'm glad I finally got it.

Oh almost forgot Alec Baldwin and Charles Barkley are some voice actors.

So I'd give the dvd as a whole a 4 out of 5 because it is very entertaining for the little time it lasts.

i got this DVD a while back, and I love this cartoon a lot. its not that everyone hated it that it got cancelled, its just that it was given poor time slots, out of the 6 episodes only 2 where aired because no one tuned in due to lack of advertisement and horrible scheduling.

nonetheless, this cartoon is one of my favorites, just like clerks is one of, if not, my favorite movie.

FAVORITE MOVIES:
1. Clerks
2. Mallrats
3. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
4. Napoleon Dynamite
5. American Beauty
6. Spanglish
pretty much any kevin smith flick or movie with Adam Sandler.

They said on there that all the test audiences hated it, I think if it were aloud to have a late time slot on comedy central uncensored it would still be on today. That's a fact, most stations are so afraid of the big bad FCC and Soccer moms they wont do anything beyond shows like The OC, Boston Public and Immature Houswives... Or something like that.

But than again I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, I just go by what they said... The network purchased something that they had no clue what it wasand when they figured out what it was they were stuck ha-ha stupid networks.

We should start an online petition to get Clerks The Cartoon brought back for the comedy network, new episodes and all. http://www.petitiononline.com I've heard they sometimes work.

I spent 6 hours with Kevin Smith on Saturday night - what a guy. He is one of the best storytellers in the world.

He also mentioned that Harvey Weinstein wanting a full length Clerks cartoon to be released theatrically. I can't remember why he said that it did not pan out...I don't think Kevin really wanted to do it.

Do you know when An Evening With Kevin Smith 2 is coming out?

The first one was gold, I enjoy listening to this guy speak so much more than anyone else. His DVD commentaries, the Clerks doc on the 10th box set. I hope An Evening 2 is coming out before Mallrats X.
