First the poster has a picture of a girl who has black hair... Who is this girl? Monica Keena does not look like that.

The character Vincent looks as if he was born to play The Crow which is odd and a plus for the film as I like The Crow... maybe it would sway me to be less negative but nope I have to be honest.

2000's Crime and Punishment in Suburbia - This is a contemporary fable loosely based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment". Roseanne (Monica Keena) is outwardly a perfect and popular teen. However, her image is hiding the abuse at her stepfather's hands, and she decides to take revenge. The events that follow are a mix of dark humour and an exploration of modern morality as Roseanne faces not only a fellow suburbanite who knows, but her own conscience as well.

The thing is I wanted to see the film for her boyfriend played by James Debello, the problem is they made him a small character when his part should have been bigger due to the story.

Vincent the character who really had no point but for narration purposes was a good gothic type character who was their for Roseanne when she needed it but really slows the plot in certain places.

The box says strong sexuality, substance abuse and strong violence. Sounds like a horror movie and yet it has none of that stuff but for a little bit of blood. (It is a drama, thriller)

Special feature wise it has a commentary and guess what... it is the worst commentary i've ever heard, terribly boring.

Overall the film is average, worth a watch if you like Monica Keena or James Debello but otherwise it's just another average film in the boiling pot.
