I totally agree with you.  Scary movie ,more like pop culture movie.  Most of the film references were from the  pop culture like War of the world, Broke Back Mountain ....
You know what it would of been really good if they spoofed 28 Days Oh and Cabin Fever yeah baby that would of been scary and chucklesum at the same time.
