Well I went to see this yesterday, but when a guy got his hand chopped of with a butcher knife we had to leave and go see Step up instead , which is now I think the worst movie I have seen since Hostel.

So this afternoon I went to go see it again and boy is this some messed up movie.

There really isn't any plot, Jason Statham  plays a hitman for some kind of criminal orginization and decides to quit, so he is poisoned with some chinese drug that kills you if your adrenaline goes down, so from that point on he runs, fights, screws, does drugs, and drinks lots of red bull to keep himself alive long enough to kill the people that killed him.

I know a few people didn't like it cause I saw some other people walking aout along with me and my girlfriend, so I may be in the minority here.

Here's a list od why this movie kicks ass.

1: Jason Statham, this guy is a major ass kicker

2: Dwight yoakam, he plays a pimp doctor, he is an awesome singer, now he is becoming one of my favorite actors.

3: The funniest sex scene in movie history

4: The funniest car chase/blowjob/shoot out I have ever scene

5: The exploding Parakeet

6: There is a scene where Jason says "Do I have the word cunt written on my forehead" then the word cunt is shines across his forehead

7: There is a scene where Jason tries to steal a cab so he grabs the muslim cabbie and throse him out of the car then shouts "al qaida" and a group of senior citizens tackle him and proceed to break all his bones.

8: A scene involving a hand and a sewing machine that is priceless

This is one twisted movie that is never boring and always intense.  If you like fast paced action films with a lot of laughs you will probably enjoy this film.

I enjoyed it. But I felt so awkward becuase i saw it with my cousin who is like 12 years old girl. Anal sex in public and a blow job???? I could she her face just melt. But, it was good but, was so unrealistic, calling someon when falling from a helicopter, hand choped off, how the police never seemed to show up when they were needed, how he escaped from the hospital (the cops would hvae the place surrounded) and a bunch of other stuff. I cant look at my cousin in a way now. Damn sex scene.

I don't think this movie was supposed to be realistic in any way, in fact this movie doesn't even take place in reality, this was an exersise in stylized violence and mayhem,  The sex scene was GOLD I say, it was the funniest thing I have seen in the movies all year, and it wasn't that graphic, the only nudity was his butt and a 2 second glimps of Amy Smart's boobie.  I would consider this movie a comedy, I laughed out loud at least 10 times and I was smiling through the entire thing.  The more I look back on it the more I seem to like it.  This movie was a lot of fun.

PS: This movie is not for 12 year olds, I thought it was gonna be like the transporter, that's why I thought my girlfriend could handle it, I was thinkin' it just have a lot of car chases and kung fu type of stuff, boy was I wrong.

Crank was an amazing movie. The unrealism and the constant adrenaline is what makes the movie exciting. The sex scene "setting" is unrelistic, i mean common with how many people watching? But i wouldn't say the sex was lol. Stratham always delivers and he did in Crank. Excellent film and if you are into violence, then you will love this.
