I noticed this film on imdb, and found it on Macedonia's pirate DVD market (like usual).
I was really unprepared for what I saw - The Queen was a fantastic film.
Using real images, startlingly realistic-and-outstanding cast, this film really does give someone a strong opinion of what REALLY happened to Princess Diana.
And it's not just from the press's point of you - it goes into real detail with the monarchy. With the Queen herself, Diana, and even the Queen Mother. The motion is really life-like.
The Queen (Helen Mirren) must've been the strongest character of them all. She does a really great job as the Queen - to the point where you actually really feel sorry for her.
The film especially has a dark sense of real humour - especially across the roles of Elizabeth II and the new primeminister, Tony Blair (outstandingly played by Michael Sheen).
I recommend this to anyone - really. It's such a great film. It doesn't drag on at all. It's just so interesting.
Curse!
