It is absolutely amazing how many times Chinatown is referenced in Film School and all writing books. It amazes me. Every person at one point references Chinatown as 'the perfect' script. It's really interesting to analyze the script with other writers and get different points of view from people.

It's also quite interesting to hear the stories about the fights Polanski and Towne had and how Towne had a vastly different script before Polanski got his hands on it and made the changes.
