Hi,

I'm writing a scene that shows a press breifing in which there are 4 speaking parts plus reporters firing questions. Now, it's only one person at the time answering questions so I'm a bit at odds on how to do this and still get the format right. The easy way out could be to do it like this.

EXT. PRESS BRIEFING.

REPORTER
Blah blah blah?

MAN
Blah blah blah

EXT. PRESS BRIEFING - LATER.

REPORTER
Blah blah blah?

WOMAN
Blah blah blah

EXT. PRESS BRIEFING - LATER.

etc.

But it doesn't look or read well. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to do this?

Regards
Robert

You can always write the other reporters' dialogue as:

Reporters AD LIB questions to the President, shouting above each other.

When an individual reporter has the floor, asking the President a question, you list them separately from the others.
