He apparently really enjoyed American Beauty. Hey, it won best picture; can't really fault him for that. Great character development that one. I hated the story, but it had some solid characters.
Hey, everybody I'm new to this site. I really enjoy reading scripts on here. But the reason why I'm leaving a message here for you all today is because I was reading a interview on this web site called done deal before they started making people pay money. And they was interviewing the self proclaimed "The Chosen One" or "World Greatest Writer" what ever he calls his self. He said that he inked a deal with HBO for a television series called STREET SCRIPTURES: The New Testament. But they haven't released any information on it yet because they are trying to figure out if they want to turn it into the movie of the year or a movie like Godfather. I saved the interview on a disk that I have but I can't find it in all of my junk in my room but when I find it I will email it to you if you like. I tried to down the interview again on Done Deal but like I said they ask for money now. That's bad news. Who wants to pay for entertainment news when they can just look it up on a different site. Stupid!!! He was in talks with Sofia Vergara. She looks good for all of you who don't know who she is here's a link: http://www.topcelebs.com/archive/Sofia-Vergara.htm. She is supposed to play the good looking Mariah character. And in the interview that I can remember some was that he called his fans "Disciples." And he wants them to continue the following. And I said to my self what following nobody knows who you are. And if they do they are crazy. And he was talking about how he wrote 30 scripts in 4 year. If this is true he must be the greatest writer in the world. And he said that he is writing the first Bible about STREET LIFE. This should be entertaining knowing how arrogant he is. And one more thing why does the administrator keep taking off you alls comments. The way "The Chosen One" left messages on here it seems that he should have more than one page of comments. And George Willson is right. He must really enjoyed American Beauty. His formate or style of writing is similar to Alan Ball in the way he writes his stuff mixed with his own. He put it down when he wrote Jude Vida Loca and Never Really Was. Very similar style to Alan Ball. Can't really fault him for that. And I think he mentioned something about Alan Ball in his interview but can't remember right now. Why don't you all leave comments on those boards. Judge Vida Loca is a comedy. But I here people don't read comedies.
{admin note: Please note that the above was written by Maurice. I'd delete it, but then the rest of the thread would not make any sense.}
Thirty scripts in four years makes him a great writer? Bert, how far should I really go on this one? Here's a name to kick most everyone I know on writing a ton of scripts in a year: Lee A Chrimes. He's the admin at Monster Zero and has a hand in nearly every show over there. I wrote over 30 scripts in the last couple years. He's probably got twice that many.
However, neither I nor he have ever claimed to be the greatest writer ever.
I don't really see the point in trying to write 30 scripts in a year. What if you wrote one really good script in a year and he wrote 30 bad ones? And I've never heard of this dude before.
If you're referring to Lee Chrimes, just google him. You'll get, like, 10 pages of stuff. Type his name into the Scimply Scripts search. He hasn't submitted everything here, but you'll get some results.
If you're talking about Maurice Brown, don't worry. No one else has either.
And I do try not to post bad scripts, but if you search for me, you'll get a few that I consider to be at least decent.

Maurice, it's you arrogance that keeps me from reading this. Sorry, but I read stuff, A because it looks interesting, and B because I respect the writer.
You can to this site proclaiming that you were the "Worlds Greatest Writer" and "The Chosen One", that's a majour put off. You post here for input and critiques to better you work. If your work is infallible and you're the greatest then what's the point?
