Mike, I laughed my butt off at this. It’s got everything thrown in. The Alan banana peel thing was twisted. And of course, I won’t mention the army of…you know what’s…yet as I’m sure they will make history in time. Of course, my favorite part is the brilliant Dr. Mabuse, for whom I have tremendous respect. I’ve got to say, these little SS scripts really do create a familial sense to this place I think. Great job. |

Not only was this a hilariously enjoyable read, but your descriptions were short and sweet!
I think everything in here flowed exceptionally well and you involved lots of the little things. And yes, I burst out laughing after reading the inferno line. Hahahaha.
No offense to the little guy, but I think Curse's character is what really lifted this up. He was just so funny! Everything was blended very nicely.
Haha good work Shelton |

Ha! I was gonna have greg say "Shtuff" but then i forgot! I'm so glad you used that. I'm surprised the power of the banjo did'nt work, that's never happened before.
I agree, curse was hilarious.
Good job Mike.
And mixing caffiene with giant monster serum is not that hard to mix up... |

I read through it and found it definitely amusing. That army will inevitably go down in legend. Love the whole ensemble cast feel of the whole thing as well as the cheap trick you pulled. I will say it was a little slow getting started, but once you got over the hump, it was amusing enough to carry me through to the end. Good job.
I actually wouldn't mind reading a few more of the SS spoof scripts. |

Oh my gosh, haha this was hilarious. You did a great job on it!
And I laughed so hard when the army of came in. This was really good and you did a great job capturing everyone on the board (or at least those whose names were mentioned) and I loved it.
More!

Mike,
This was also, very good. I enjoyed it. The formatting was great (Tyler...).
Again, more of Wesley being the heavy. (Seriously, if it wasn't for Wesley, half the posts would be: "Buy Cheap Fags", "Enlarge something on your body that already sticks out", and a whole lotta, "Cool" posts.
Excellent research into the Tanuki (for the record, if you introduce your children to the Tanuki early in life, large testicles will no phase them later in life. Trust me, I speak from experience.)
Regarding this line:
MIKE And folks, please remember the moral of this story. Everyone on SimplyScripts may have their differences, but we can all live together in peace and harmony through the power of Tanuki.
I agree.
I'm still laughing and have nothing intelligent to say.

Well, checked back for the Westerns and didn't find them, but will certainly settle for this one in the meantime. I am super-pleased with this one, and happy to see that people aren't completely scared off the idea of doing this:
What I really liked --> SPOILERS:
* Alan would love the idea of odorized tattoos, I suspect. * Of the people George & I missed, I think the biggest lost opportunity that occurred to me later was Helio. Kudos for including that exotic...well, whatever he is... * INFERNO!! My biggest laugh so far. Easily. * You need to describe my gun. And George's, too. They should be special. Any B-monster writer worth his salt knows that "conventional weapons are useless." * And the army. My god. DON'T ANYBODY spoil that or you should be forever banned. * And Andrew's song after this. Oh, hell yeah...this is really funny stuff.
You know what I really take away from this, though? Your descriptions in this one. They were so nice and short. Heck, man -- if you get that down, you'll be unstoppable.

Mike, What a story. LOL. I love these scripts with simplyscripters in them because I feel like I already know the people, and when I saw that it was you who wrote the script, I knew I wouldn't be let down. I was right. Loved the story, the characters, how they all interacted. It was a wonderful ride. No beefs from me, but... I can't wait to see... Wait a minute... HEY PHIL! You gotta check this out! Ha ha ha ha Whoo hoo hoo. Now it's time for me to skip back off into the dark alleyway from whence I came, my nose buried deep within a red rose. Great job, Mike! |

This was most entertaining, Mike! Really well written and funny. I think you really captured the essence of the forum, and I particularly loved the way Phil/Dogglebe was returned to his normal state. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of that, lol Your singing was ever so sweet btw. Great job and I'm really impressed with the quality of your writing!! Now, smile for the camera... cheeeeeeeese...you cheeky monkey.... Andy xxx PS - Tourists never say die!!! PPS - Can someone fill me in on the inferno gag in a PM please? I didn't get it, sorry... |

Hey Mike,
Really enjoyed this one.
As others mentioned, your descriptions are much better in this and, as usual, the dialogue is great.
Some nice subtle references in there too, like the line about lobotomies and dogglebe's "give a little, get a little" comment.
Great stuff. |

"Inferno" is probably only funny to Mike, Greg, and myself. It involves a link between one of my stories, one of Mike's stories, and Greg's silliness in general. It can be explained if you really want to hear it, but you'll probably just go "Eh" and not think it is all that funny. Oh...and this post has nothing to do with Cindy's strange comment -- but for my money, misquoting people is the next big thing... |

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say thanks for a taking a look at this, and I'm glad that everyone was able to get in a few laughs, since I got the inspiration to write this over a few hours of a very UN-inspired workday.
I tried to capture as many people as I could, and as many little things as I could to turn out a good story. But there was something that I forgot to put in regarding George:
SPOILER....SORT OF
George hands Mike three feature length scripts.
MIKE Three new ones? Thanks.
GEORGE No big deal. I wrote them in the car on the way over
END SORT OF SPOILER
Bert,
I agree with you on the guns. I think I just missed it because I was relying on the descriptions from your script to carry me through.
Those who have questioned the INFERNO (Ha Ha Greg),
Bert and I both wrote scripts that contained the word inferno in them, and for some reason this word makes Greg crack up whwenever he sees it.
Don,
Thanks for noticing my research.
Thanks to everyone for commenting on my descriptions. I've been working on making them more concise, and the feedback is appreciated.
And once again, thanks to everyone for reading. |

No but seriously, if you read my review of Shelton's "High Stakes" and Newcomer's "Starbuck Starr," you'll see what this is all about.
