Maybe this gets asked a lot and I'm too lazy to search through all the previous posts.  If so, sorry.

Anyways, say I have a scene where two people are talking and in the background there's something important going on on the television.  For example:

INT.  KITCHEN -- DAY

JACK, 20 and JILL, 24 sit at a table systematically twisting the heads off of small dead bunny rabbits.

JACK
You ever put one in the microwave?

JILL
No.  You think I'm rich?

JACK
It's funny.  You wanna see it?

JILL
You're not using my microwave.

JACK
You're not as cool and reckless as you think you are.

JILL
Shutup and keep working.

--And during this whole scene there's a home video playing on the television in the background that might go something like this:

EXT.  BACKYARD -- DAY

Jill, as a young child, is about halfway up a small tree.  DAD is filming her with a Super 8 camera.

DAD (O.S.)
Honey, why don't you come back down?

JILL
It's our tree.

DAD (O.S.)
Sweetie, it's tough to build those nests.  They want to start a family.

JILL
Dad.  Shutup and pass me that rock.

--So my question is how exactly would I combine these two scenes in the script so that they're both running at the same time?  Is there a standardized way of doing this?

Thanks.
