I've been thinking, and in the near future, I might write a script that's like a documentary-movie. But fictional. So how would I write it to where I want the "host" of the documentary to say stuff to the camera and how the camera man interacts with the action and whatnot?

Like, would I write stuff like:

MAN
(To camera)
Today we're going to talk about you-know-what in that-place-over-there with so-and-so. Let's go!

The man and the cameraman walk over.

MAN
(To camera)
This is so-and-so.
(To so-and-so)
What do you do?

-----------------------------------

I'm not sure that's the correct way. And I'm not sure you'd have to use (To camera) whenever you want the "host" to talk to the cameraman.

Thanks a bunch:
Sean

Read Pug-umentary, a mockumentary I wrote that's in post-production.
