With all the novel business almost completely out of the way (almost...), I was finally able to pick up my camera and dick around with my friends (something I haven't been able to do for some time). We decided to go out and create the world's first Moon Knight fan film (how this came about is a long story, but the final product will be solid). Check out the teaser below and look for the final product (hopefully) at the end of June (or maybe early July). Enjoy!
Editing is taking a bit longer than expected, but we are finally completely done filming... here's a quick screenshot we took from the last day of our Namor being oggled by actor supreme (and Thor) Brett Anderson... no special effects of any kind have been added...
Welp, editing is complete and so is formatting... and the final product can now be viewed on YouTube... here's the link to the first part. The second part (conclusion) as well as outtakes can be found to the right of the film, along the related search toolbar.
P.S.: Look for my hulking frame as, well, The Hulk in a quick, beer-guzzling cameo (which I actually performed with a 16 oz. can of Natural Ice... gross, I know). Enjoy!
I really enjoyed them. I think this shows growth from T.W.A.T. G as both a director and a team doing comedy.
Very good stuff but I must say with the wealth of superheroes to make fun of and or use... Why would you use most of the marquee figures and not some of the more obscure ones mentioned near the end by... I didn't get who that guy was. He looked like Fred Flintstone combined with the Devil.
Overall for a fan film it was pretty good. Entertainment is what I look for in films and shorts and this certainly was that.
Hollywood will never do anything like this because everything has to make money. No chances can be taken. Some might consider The Phantom with Billy Zane or the old Batman series to be comedy entertainment but they didn't try.
Having just checked out the picture above I don't see anything strange here. If anything I feel slightly sorry for the guy in the tight shorts, if you have nothing to show, hide it!
Check out my scripts...if you want to, no pressure.
