That's depressing to hear, no doubt -- that even established screenwriters and even actors and filmmakers are having hard times nowadays, but seriously, who the hell isn't? Every job has lower wages and hiring rates these days, anyway.

There's still hope, to be honest. Several new screenwriters have popped out of the blue recently, so there's obviously still an opportunity out there if you're willing to find it.
