Hi David, Welcome to the board. If you have something to post, I look forward to seeing it and adding some thoughts. The key here is to review and you will be reviewed. Get into reading some of the posters works and in kind you will get the same in return. Glad you are here my friend. Shawn.....><

Welcome aboard, David!
I can't live the buttoned-down life like you. I want it all. The dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, the creamy middles. Sure, I may offend some of the blue bloods with my cocky stride and musky odors. Oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "city fathers," who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards and talk about what's to be done with this Homer Simpson?

And he calls me full of mercury.
Actually, it is true. Ruled by Mercury in its fullest.

Greetings and Salivations David! Welcome to SS. Read and be read is the motto around here. It took some solid weeks of daily reads, but the tide turned and I got good feedback. Yay California, what part? Regards, E.D.

Thanks for all the greetings it's nice to feel welcome. I'm from Lancaster, Ca. and I'm currently attending The Art Institute Of LA for Video Production. Got into writing through poetry and took a script writing class and found that I love it. So I have a few scripts ready to post as soon as I can get the time to do so. But I figured I'd comment on some scripts before posting my own.

David, I don't know you... I don't know how well your feet are planeted in screenwriting, but please take my advice here. When you use FADE IN:, please place it all the way to the right side of the screen. It's a must should you decide to even use it at all. But I like starting my scripts out with SMASH CUTS! just like that too. SMASH CUT! Right justified to the 1.5 inch margin of course. Imagine, if you will, SMASHING into you movie rather than slowly and boringly fading into it. Action packed already, isn't it? You can learn all of this and more in my new teachings, though. It's the rouge way of doing things.
