Is it too early to start the rumour train for the next OWC? Really enjoyed the last one and looking forward to the next one now (I think...) I can do a better job of it.
The OWC takes a lot of work on Don's part so it's really up to him when it will, if it will happen.
Besides, since a lot of people have been working on either/both Soul Shadows or Scarefest, it might be nice for all those writers to get a few reads and a chance to read the other entries as well before the next OWC takes up the boards.
Yeah fair play to that. I was just wondering what genres people were hoping for. I'm wanting it to be comedy but if it's a while off there's probably not much point talking about it yet.
I know requesting genres kinda defeats the purpose of the OWC but I would prefer the genre was NOT comedy or drama. Both have been done three times. Personally, I'd like to try something new.

Another western would be nice. I've never done one before, so it'd be a fresh start for me. Sci-fi was fun also. But no matter which genre, it'll be fun nonetheless.
I think that trying on a different genre is a good thing. Even if a person fails miserably. (Was the adverb really necessary?)
Seriously, the thing I like about the OWC, like any writing challenge, is the challenge. Working within a time frame under criteria is kind of like weight training or tai chi or something like that.
...but gosh-oh-golly-oh-gee-- I don't want Don to be overworked. He's had enough trouble with the boards lately.
Phil gives good advice: We children must be patient.
