Does the woman spin clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Clockwise means you're using the right side (creative) of your brain.

Anti-clockwise mean you're using the left side (logical) of your brain.

It is possible to get her to do both.

Or so they tell me.

I see clockwise.

What's funny to me is that someone actually took the time to animate in her nipples.

If all you see are nipples then you are using what we like to term the third brain - or lower brain.  Using the lower brain is usually considered an indication of sub-normal intelligence.

Well when you're right, you're right.

Or left, depending on which way she's spinning.

It most certainly spins both ways.  I've seen it do both.

This makes little to no sense.

Edit:  http://www.theness.com/neurologicablog/?p=27

That's an explanation.

ANOTHER edit:

Ok, so I'm staring at this thing and it keeps changing directions now.  I'm very puzzled by this.

Wow, I mean fuck wow!! When i first looked at it she was counter clockwise. Scrolled back up after reading comments... She's going clockwise.

Stared at that bitch for five minutes... finally got her to go the other way. Fucking amazing play one the eyes... has absolutely nothing to do with left or right side of the brain though.... Come on.

Alright... Been duped. Stare at her long enough she goes the other way... You just train your eyes and believe you're seeing it in your head....

far less impressed now... Dissapointed in meself???? Ahhh... feel like a fucking retard actually. Boy, did i get excited!!!!

WtF!!! Now I've got her going back and forth. Myheads about to explode... Thanks for posting this. Fucker.

I definitely spin right, but I rely on you, Michael, and others, to help spin me the other way when necessary.

Just because one person says it doesn't, doesn't mean it doesn't - it means some believe it does, some believe it doesn't.

But I've been doing graphical work today and when I first looked at her she was going clockwise.

Then I did some reading and after reading she went anti-clockwise.

Does it correlate? Yep. Is it a coincidence? Maybe.

I just asked my husband and he saw clockwise first, but then he changed to counter-clockwise.

So thus:

It seems, that men are seeing both.

I can see both too, but I feel the right more strongly.

Today Dave and I were walking towards a movie theatre. And we actually had a dialogue because there was this barrier of sorts. Like a seating area...

And I was going to walk to the right side and he started pulling to the left, a narrow passageway near the wall of the building.

It was weird (as all my stories go) because we both were considering this "small" choice as having some kind of significance.

I just follow my husband, David, because he means a great deal to me and is my better half and it seems we always "check" each other's actions. ...anyways...

On the way out, I said:

"We're now walking on the right." And we were. Just facing a different direction.

So what's the point in all this apparently pointless meandering?

The point is:

There is a point. I need to start up a particular thread, but I need to digest
things further. It's all about mathematics.

Michael, you know about that. You are a computer guy. And I suck at that, but I can feel the importance of it.

I see both directions. If I wait to see which one I see more of, I just space out and forget what I'm doing haha. Not sure what this is supposed to prove though. Just interesting I guess.

I think what it means is what you feel personally.

If you don't see anything or DON'T WAN'T TO SEE ANYTING in it, then you won't-- because you're not ready to, or you don't want to.

It seems to me that we exist within a land of free choice and one can be given an opportunity, but it wouldn't amount to a hill of beans if it didn't hold some kind of importance to an individual...

Like:

You bloody well love the color purple because your mother on her death bead spoke a poem to you that was with her since she was a child and she never knew why but she was compelled to translate to you anyways and you always wondered why and then ten years later you met this woman who was hooked on buying purple Birthday Cards and purple leotards and God knows what and you asked yourself: WHAT THE HELL?!!!!

That's what I'm referring to here.

If you get it, then good. If you don't, then it doesn't matter anyways because someday, you will.
