I have watched three short films from the UCLA Film Fest now - Paul's was first, naturally, but stopped out of frustration.

I'm having trouble with the playback stuttering and stopping. Tried pausing to load it but it doesn't work.
Watched on Tablet, phone, and PC, and the same problem.

Is it just me?

Thanks, Warren! Good to know it wasn't just me. I thought for sure on my PC it would behave, but nope.
Be interesting to know if those further afield have the same problem.

I would've happily watched more. A shame.

I've had no problem watching all of them.  Have you tried starting one, then pausing for ten minutes to allow it to buffer up before proceeding?

Don & Ant, thanks, and good to know these are playing seamlessly for you guys.

Tried everything...
But will give it another go today (on another PC) and cast my vote/s.
Good luck to Paul!

I was a little pissed off at the end but then I remembered... "Wait a second... Spaghetti!"

Well done!

Thanks all! Appreciate the effort to watch through a bad connection.

If we pick up any awards, I'll let you know. To this point, I've heard nothing.

Again, thanks for checking it out!

And, thanks for all the promotion Don!

Hey Paul,

Congrats on getting this made.  I did get to watch it and I enjoyed it. The acting was good. The direction was a bit vanilla but for a film student it was solid. I liked the twist at the end.

Nice work!

James.

I'll post a link when I've got one, then everyone who wants to can take a look.

I see Don has one in the banner, but I don't think that'll work now that the festival has concluded.

Thanks, James. The director, Celeste Hoang, was excellent to work with. Really respected the word on the page. She kept me updated all along, was open to input, and included me in several of the meetings. Also invited me to all the parties, the shoot, etc. (Though I couldn't make the trip to LA.) If anyone on here has the opportunity to work with her, I'd highly recommend it.
