Inspired by a comment made by JEStaats on one of my scripts, and the fact I have probably read 1,000s' of them over my nearly 8 years of parenthood, I decided to diversify into children's picture books.

Now I have my first finished manuscript. And just like when I typed FADE OUT on my first ever script, I think it's a bloody masterpiece!!

I have found a few publishers which are open to submissions that I am going to query too. (I have zero funds for self-publication) so whilst I wait for the rejections, has anyone else tried writing/publishing a picture book? Queried any publishers? Any experiences so far?

If only there was an SS style site for aspiring picture book writers...

Yes, if only. Are you sure there's not?
Good luck with it!

There's a few out there actually.

Thanks

Yeah, I have found a few forums, but I was hoping to find a site like this where I can post my manuscript for potential publishers to view, but I guess that is not how this industry works.

Hey ho, lets see where this goes
