I love both the SCREAM and SCARY MOVIE trilogies.  I've got many ideas for developing the characters, and adding twists, and making the murderer someone whom the audience would never suspect.  I wish they'd hire me to write it! (That's the only way I'd write it too, because I hate writing fanfics.)

Sorry folks but Wes Craven is not what he used to be. I think that the older you get, the more out of touch with horror you become. Craven made a rock solid teen horror flick with Scream and started up a raging trend, whether that be for better or worse. But the guy filmed "Cursed" and the executives hated it and now he's re-shooting a reported *90%* of the film. So you have to wonder, is his touch gone or was the film doomed from day one? Craven should probably leave Dimension studios and seek business elsewhere. The guy is obviously talented with Drama also, maybe he should take a crack at some other sources. Because for horror he has run just about dry. New Nightmare was less horror, more... not really much at all. Scream was visceral, and if you watch it now it doesn't stand the test of time, and the sequels are just degrading to the original (but the second film was nominal). Frankly, the guy should go re-think his career and make the "Alice" movie with Milla Jovovich, who wouldn't want to see a twisted wonderland twenty years after the original story? Especially with good old Milla getting naked for no real reason, like in every other film. A message to you Mr. Craven, find what your good at and stick to it, and Horror isn't your genre anymore.

Erm, there MIGHT be TALKS about a POSSIBLE fourth entry to the Scream series, IF Cursed is a sucess (i.e. if Kev and Wes can prove that they still make a good horror together). Cursed hasn't even come out yet so it's safe to say that no one has signed on to Scream 4, or read it, because it doesn't even exist yet, and possibly never will.

I read in Dreamwatch or SFX or one of those things, that Neve Campbell was approached about it and said "No." And if she isn't in it, most likely neither will Courtney, and so if there'd be a Scream 4, it'd be on of those cheap really bad Straight-To-Video or TV Movies with Actors/Actresses who've guest starred on really stupid shows, therefore a really stupid movie.

I hope it never get's a go from any studio, if they make a 4th you can't cash in on the trilogy like they have been. Plus they ended it great, tied up loose ends and even killed some hot women in the process and they go on to make millions in other films

Leave what's good alone, but I guess since there going back and remaking classic's because there stupid why not was another 100 mill. Not our money who are we to say they shouldn't

Jason, do some more research man, over one a ukreview website on upcomng films, it states that Kevin Williamson is going to write it, and Wes Craven is still deciding whether or not he wants to direct. The producer of all three, Cathy something says there is going to be one, like you have said, but Neve Campbell is NOT  going to do it. I read that news on her site. Lastly Courtney Cox is back for a 4.

Neve Campbell has the same effect on me that Milla Jovovich does, NOTHING. They are two of the unlikely leading ladies because 1 is so boney all you can think is eating disorder and the other is Neve Campbell

Jason, you aint getting it. In the fourth, Courtney may come back, but on the site it says she is in (for right now). I just read that Kevin Willimson, says that he wrote a Scream 3 ,but with total new characters, and he says that he is 90% sure he might use that script for a 4, or he might just write a whole new, but it is going to invovle TOTAL, I REPEAT TOTAL new characters

I would be awesome if they killed neve campbell and it was bloody and she was screaming right at the start of the movie then the killer stalks a new person. YAY!!!!!!!!!
