I heard something about Matrix 4 being made in Aulstraila. It was going to show Neo not dead tring to use his powers to being Trinity back, nad destroy the robot world, and bring to matrix down back to where his regular world used to be. Is this true? |

Sounds like a crock to me. If there was a Matrix sequel in the works, they wouldn't already be shooting it. |

I hope there is no forth. The Matrix is a trilogy. It wrapped itself up in a way that fit it, and to have another sequal would only be rehashing the same story. |

Maybe if they are they should get an all new cast and talk about a time before neo and morpheus, make like the making of the robot world or agents: where are they now?
Then they show the young drug addicted agents on street corners holding signs like will lay for food or knock knock I'll suck your ... yeah that wasn't going anywhere
They can't really do much more without ruining the trilogy part of the thing |

I'm pretty sure they ruined the trilogy all by themselves, adding another movie would just finish it off. Literally it went downhll from the original matrix. they can't actually be happy with the third film can they?
Anyway i'm pretty sure they'll continue the story through the use of video games, since it has a larger, more financially potent, reach.

Yeah they kinda ruind te secret of a game that's coming out because one of the guys said something in an interview either on the television or on some dvd somewhere, the video game was nothing to special itself and I know my video games
They need an rpg matrix video game, I bet that would surpass any movie profit and overall any day weather it's Sunday or Friday |

Laurence Fishburn was on Conan a little while ago and said no. There will only be three. But you never know. Matrix has pulled in a lot of money. Money people want their hands. |

I think somebody will end up making a Matrix 4 - there was no need for Terminator 3 but they still did it anyway so they'll be some half baked idea for a Matrix 4 story - give it about 10 years |

They should do an old time kung fo film with matrix like effects, in the fighting scenes not unbelivable sets and things that would never happen in real life
They could do maybe a 4th film as a cartoon, like the animatrix but games are the way into the fans heart anymore, i'd rather be neo than watch him, I'd also rather kill the chick in leather trinity but hey we can't all have what we want |

I have read that the Wachowski Bros are making either a new Conan film or an adaptation of Alan Moore's graphic novel V FOR VENDETTA. |

V for Vendetta would make an awesome movie! can't wait! |

I've said this before, but I feel it deserves repeating.
I don't think Neo died. I felt that the ending suggested that Neo was whisked away by The God Of The Machine to experience the robot world through its eyes (so to speak...and because Neo no longer has any of his own). I also think this is based on the ending of Le Morte D'Arthur, where King Arthur is "killed" in combat by his evil son, Mordred. After his "death" he is carried away by the Lady of the Lake (among others) to Avalon, a mystical island where great heroes are taken to rest. As written by both Thomas Mallory and Chretian De Troyes, Arthur will rise again from the dusts of Avalon to save England in its moment of greatest need.
I believe this is what is suggested at the end of Matrix: Revolutions. No one ever says he died. In fact, it is said that the remaining heroes "may see him again someday." All we see at the conclusion of the film is Neo's limp form being dragged away by the Machine Mind's tentacle. Just because he allowed Smith to inhabit him in order to destroy him from the inside out (the opposite of the ending of Matrix 1), doesn't mean he died, just as Smith didn't die from the same attack previously. In fact, it made Smith STRONGER.
I don't need to see another Matrix film, however there is an opening for Neo to return as some human/computer hybrid savior. |

Yeah they did say 'f**king dont go there kid' but they still said 'if there was a 4th it would be Kid and Niobe' so they do still have an idea. I dont think they'd bring back Neo like Jesus, but Morphues could have a cameo (non fighting) and theres still Animatarix 2 to come (hopefully this will have the Smith Vs Seriph story, and the Smith (between 1&2) story. Fingers (and just about everything else) crossed. |

Neo will return, just like Goku always returns! DB, DBZ, and DBGT rule! There are many similarities between Neo, Goku, and Jesus; all three of them are spectacularly written fictional characters, except in the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon, as a sequel to the bible, fails where many sequels fail: it just wasn't as Good as the first Good Book. In fact, the Book of Mormon is an exercise in redundancy; however, its main character, Jesus Christ, remains a good archetype for characters who are good role-models. |

k, in my opinion, you have to look at the matrix: revolutions in a different light. in Chinese mythos, an equilbrium must be established in Nature at all times, and if there is no balance, coincidence will do everything in its power to retain that balance. As said, and insinuated, Neo and Smith represented both by ying and yang. Neo can't exist without an equal opposite force of evil, namely Smith. So i mean, it's pointless if neo returns, cause if would just be to finish off smith again and die, because both he and smith can't coexist. matter and antimatter......chh |

They were *SUPPOSED* to Produce the new Conan film, with John Milius directing but that fell through. Probably because of casting conflicts after Ah-nuld became the Governator. The V for Vendetta project is also supposed to be in the works at this time and the Wachowski's have a script for it (as I read a script review on that subject.) but beyond that there is nothing, nada. Except for this wierd mysterious project they are calling "Axis", and its supposed to be a revolutionary film with these amazing special effects, taking the next step forward in CGI. Basically how the original Matrix film did. It sounds pretty interesting but doesn't seem entirely likely that it'll happen. I'd love to see them go do a simpler film and get back into touch with Earth, I love their work but they need to make another "Bound", just so they come back to reality. But if you consider these two have only really made 3 films (Bound, Matrix, Revolutions and Reloaded [Which count as one because they were filmed together]) these guys have a prolific resume. Maybe the second and third Matrix films weren't that great, but considering the Wachowki's are still learning the trade, they have done damn well so far. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and craft a wholly better film, becoming great film-makers. Everyone has their flop, they just happened to flounder a bit but I'm sure they'll find their footing again. Don't forget Revolutions still made about 400 million dollars worldwide so its not like they aren't bankable. The big projects will keep rolling in and sooner or later we'll probably consider them the best in the business, or damn near. V for Vendetta would be a good project for them because they have a good grip on the darker points of reality, and they respect the art of comics. But anything they do, I will watch, so I just hope they make their next film soon, so I can buy a ticket and be first in line. |

They have produced a new Conan script, but now they've split because the dirctor wants to go a different way.
As for the new ANIMATRIX, I'd like to see...
*The whole SERIPH/MEROVIGIAN story *How SMITH realised he could copy himself and get into the real world (did he see the Merovingian? ASAIN GUY: 'If you want to take something from our world to your world that does not belong, you must go to him') *The SERIPH/SMITH story (I have beaten you before) * & learn more about the Agents (where do they hang out on a Friday night? Just kidding) |

There are many they could do to create a new storyline but going back to the "ying and yang" theory we are gong to need a new hero or a new nemisis. Their is a possibiltity that the machiens don't keep the peace but I am not sure how the would make a story out of it with out 1. neo still being alive or 2. creating a new hero both of which would be lame... I don't know... I don't think that they should make another one just because they are getting progressively worse but if they want to waste the money all the power to them.... |

There have been some interesting happenings regarding the possibility of a fourth Matrix film.
On “The Matrix Online”, the online game which continues the Matrix universe, the remains of Neo's 'RSI' (Residual Self Image) have been encoded into a new form of false Agents made by an Exile named Silver.
Also, Morpheus argues that the Machines have never returned Neo's physical remains (Thomas Anderson's actual body) to Zion, but at the same time they cryptically commented that they didn't recycle them.
I see the possibility for a fourth film.

They have games to continue the story why would they want to make another film so people can complain about being disappointed again?
If I were them I'd stay as far away from a 4th movie as possible because eventhough people want it now we all know that when it comes those same people will turn against them because they actually did make it and it wasn't what they wanted.
If you want it so bad write it yourself. It must suck to be a film maker these days, seriously you can't do anything good without vendictive fanboys complaining. |

The whole Matrix set of films were a complete and utter waste of time. The first was boring; marred by too much technical jargon.
And the action scenes were completley unsatisfying.
But that's just my two cents. |
