Cool, the first SH was one of the better video game adaptations. Now lets pray that Sean Bean returns!

I'm eagerly awaiting this film. The first one captured the feel of the games to an extent, but Sean Bean's scenes ruined the flow of the movie. Not because he's a bad actor, but because the scenes were out of place with the rest of the movie. I hope he gets to be in the Silent Hill dimension this time around.

I have the perfect storyline: Christopher gets letter from Rose. Christopher goes to Silent Hill. Christopher investigates. Christopher visits the nightmare-ish version of SH, not the dead town he saw in the first film.

Director Christophe Gans claims he KNOWS what's wrong with the first movie and will try and fix those things in the sequel. I hope he lives up to his word because the first one could've done better with a little tweak. Some of the things in it were bad, namely the dialogue.

I hope this turns out well.

The story was really lacking in the first one, though it did a great job at getting the feel of the game.

And if there's anymore female cops in it, they should make them look less like strippers than they did in the first one.

No more French contortionists!

It was distracting. Instead of being scared, half the time I was thinking "wow how did he get his leg all the way up there?"

And this time if you're get a 10-year-old girl to play a sinister ancient spirit, please get a precocious actress like Abigail Breslin or Dakota Fanning who can pull of being 2000 years old.

And if you haven't played the game, Silent Hill 2, get a copy of it.  You will lose your childhood so fast.

Silent Hill 2 is the best one in the whole series. The first game I ever got frightened. I'm planning to play it again. Accroding to the link, Christophe and Roger are planning to adapt it.  I argue no. Silent Hill 2 is already a movie itself.

Regarding the deleted posts. This is not the review board. Discussing the flaws of the first film is only relevant to a certain point, and then it becomes an outright review. This thread is about the potential sequel.
