Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. I'm eagerly awaiting this film. The first one captured the feel of the games to an extent, but Sean Bean's scenes ruined the flow of the movie. Not because he's a bad actor, but because the scenes were out of place with the rest of the movie. I hope he gets to be in the Silent Hill dimension this time around.
I have the perfect storyline: Christopher gets letter from Rose. Christopher goes to Silent Hill. Christopher investigates. Christopher visits the nightmare-ish version of SH, not the dead town he saw in the first film.
Director Christophe Gans claims he KNOWS what's wrong with the first movie and will try and fix those things in the sequel. I hope he lives up to his word because the first one could've done better with a little tweak. Some of the things in it were bad, namely the dialogue.
It was distracting. Instead of being scared, half the time I was thinking "wow how did he get his leg all the way up there?"
And this time if you're get a 10-year-old girl to play a sinister ancient spirit, please get a precocious actress like Abigail Breslin or Dakota Fanning who can pull of being 2000 years old.
"The Flux capacitor. It's what makes time travel possible."
Silent Hill 2 is the best one in the whole series. The first game I ever got frightened. I'm planning to play it again. Accroding to the link, Christophe and Roger are planning to adapt it. I argue no. Silent Hill 2 is already a movie itself.

Regarding the deleted posts. This is not the review board. Discussing the flaws of the first film is only relevant to a certain point, and then it becomes an outright review. This thread is about the potential sequel.
Though earth and man are gone, I thought the cube would last forever. I WAS WRONG.
