That's nothing.  They're already working on a remake for New Moon.

The 'Total Recall' remake is more puzzling. That was a terrific film, and yet there's nothing to suggest it would really have the glue for a contemporary audience who hadn't seen it.

While I wouldn't call Total Recall even remotely good, it did have its moments...

Why?  What's wrong with the original?  What a complete waste of time and money.

It was the Director's Cut.

I'm not believing this. Arrow in the Head says they believe it started with a misprint by Variety. It was always said that Scream 4 would be a reboot for a new trilogy of movies. While it may not be called Scream 4 I don't believe it will be a direct remake of Scream but rather a continuing or new story set in the same Scream universe. David and Courteney Arquette are making appearances aren't they?

God I hope this is true. The original still holds up incredibly well. A remake would be pointless.

Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with originality. Remakes and sequels make money. Hollywood needs to make money. Unfortunately, original films aren't dependable. Its sad, but its the truth.

(And nothing is really original anyway.)

Don't worry, that's the same in France.

Yeah it's ashame complete rubbish is so popular with the general public.

In the UK it's no better. Pretty much all we make are either quirky romantic comedies, ''gritty'' gangster films, period dramas or the odd football hooligan film. It makes me want to cry sometimes.
