I agree with Kingpin. You will have more luck finding writing assistance if come in with an original twist on the old concepts than simply rehashing the old concepts. Try to give the crappy teens a fresh angle, or better yet, make them crappy adults...or even better, intelligent adults who get wrapped up in this situation that forces these controlled business people of power and control into a state of no control at all. Imagine if you will...a slasher that stars people like Donald Trump and see how they react...that's an original twist...or at least not overdone.
I don't think that the cliche is necessarily bad; there are good slasher movies, and these can be very popular and successful. The problem is that your description is "slasher" and nothing else; you are not asking for a partner in a specific movie so much as a genre. Develop more of the movie, even within the same area, and you will have yourself not just a general category but the outline for the movie itself. And then people will know exactly your intent and will be able to help.
You should combine your two pitches, like a roadtrip slasher teen comedy, try that out, that may be a little more interesting then just a slasher or a teen road trip film, you know.
Personally I couldn't write either one if I tried. I could give a shot at writing a flatout disgusting comedy that would make your stomach cringe, but I don't think it would be too good. Basically, a slasher film about stupid teens and a teen comedy about stupid teens bores me now. Too many times have we seen this. It's gotta be unique, man.
