Well here it is, the official thread for the series. Now I think we should have about six segements? Perhaps seven at a push? I don't know we could have more or less.

Anyway before we go any further I need to know how many writers are willing to participate.

Here's the link BTW to the discussion board of the original for any of you newbies@: http://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-short/m-1103381454/s-all/

Maybe I will, I have some pretty wacky "horror" ideas.

Would you be creating scenarios and assigning them, or would potential participants be pitching you ideas for segments?

It would be nice if the segments could all have some sort of common thread that ties them together in some way.  I enjoyed the first "MM", but it was kind of random, too.

I might be interested depending upon who the other participants are.  I would encourage you to exercise at least a modicum of selectivity.

I tried to connect mine with heretics last time with a reference that few will pick up on when Hookey and Cutter are talking in the car on the way to the hotel.

Whatever Goose decides to do, last time he wrote small paragraphs with titles, a plot and characters and we were given them to do whatever.

Well it's about what people would prefer I mean to be honest I'd prefer all the original writers to get back together, perhaps with an extra writer.

Know what would be really swell? If Don would actually write a segement of it  himself.

Yeahs, what about doing sequels or spin offs of the original ideas. Or should this be a whole new batch of horror perversions?

And yeah, I like the idea of the shorts tying together.

It can be either.

Are other originals out there? R.E Freak and that other guy who's name I forgot...oh and also don, who i'd quite like to write something for this.

And howabout writing Midnight Moves II and III at the same time. It'd be different writers for the two sequels but I think that might work.  We should also think about changing the narrator, rather then being the Reaper. It might be a good change of pace if we change the him to have someone else be the narrator.

oh and are you thinking of Michael Birch?

I was thinking that Midnight Moves II and III could each have different narrators as well. Kind of like they did in the Tales From the Crypt comic series, you know.

And if those work out we could do Midnight Moves Redux which would be a collaberation from the writers of I, II, and III and would use all of the narrators from the series. Like we'd have two or three writers per segment.

I think, if you think this is a good idea, I can create a Midnight Moves III thread.

I was hoping on doing another one week excercise next month.  Are we going to butt heads together here?

Probably not because this usually takes awhile to finish, getting all the script written and cut together it'll give Goose and Topher something to do.

I'd be willing to participate, but am kind of apathetic on it, so if you'd rather have someone else, go ahead.

Depending on the time frame, I would be willing to come back and toss out another story. I have some sitting in the back of my head that I haven't and probably will otherwise never do anything with.

I'm always willing to write something but I enjoyed it more when given the story instead of crafting your own, sure we can come up with great ideas but when assigned it just seems to tie in more.

Like if R.E goes with Zombies, somebody else does gay cowboys with lightsabers fighting the army of darkness it just wouldn't work as well as when Goose takes evil dolls, cows and so on.

The way I approached it last time was a B Movie in all its glory.
