Congratulations, Michel.

I look forward to seeing the film. I haven't read the script, so I look forward to seeing it without any prior knowledge.

Nice job.

Thank you Andrew.

By the way, I found a forum where moms were talking about the script. For those who haven't read the script, the lead is a 7 year-old little girl. One mom made me smile:

Quoted Text
Was it "Aubrey"? I read it and found it kind of creepy (the little girl feels that the stuffed giraffe is staring at her, so she viciously cuts out its eyes with a scissors), and I knew my dd would find that upsetting because she loves stuffed animals, so I emailed them back to cancel. (...)

It's just that my own dd is younger and loves her stuffed animals and was horrified at the thought of cutting one up, so this role was upsetting to her personally. (On the other hand, she once auditioned to play a zombie which eventually gets killed, and that didn't bother her in the slightest - she really WANTED to play a zombie and was sorry she didn't get the role!) So, you know, each individual child has specific things they're sensitive about, and other things that don't bother them at all.

"Aubrey" rehearsals had begun. The short will be shoot in NYC on June 8th and directed by Spanish director Diego Galan.

A French composer should write the music.

The young actress chosen for the part is perfect. You can see her picture on my site with her mother's permission. (http://www.freewebs.com/micheljduthin/)
