Comedy Central's animated series DRAWN TOGETHER delivers a much-needed black eye to the glut of reality television shows with an edgy cartoon parody whose plotlines invariably resolve themselves with lesbian makeout sessions in a booze-fueled hot tub. Rendered in a vibrantly colorful style of animation designed to mimic shows like BIG BROTHER, THE SURREAL LIFE, and THE REAL WORLD, this outrageous series follows the racy exploits of eight hilariously stereotypical cartoon characters forced to live together as roommates: the clueless superhero Captain Hero; racist Disney princess Clara; sassy R&B singer Foxxy Love; zaftig Betty Boop-lookalike Toot; closeted gay video-game hero Xandir; womanizing Internet pig Spanky Ham; Pokemon-styled trading card character Ling-Ling; and drunken Spongebob wannabe Wooldoor Sockbat. Created by Matt Silverstein and Dave Jeser, DRAWN TOGETHER is a politically incorrect sendup of orchestrated "reality" replete with offensive adult-oriented humor and scads of sexual innuendo. This collection presents all eight episodes of the series' debut season in uncensored versions.

That's an introduction off of a site I use to buy DVD's and Cd's from, I think it explains what the series is for those who don't know.

Anyway this is a great DVD package and series for those who like weird offbeat comedy shows that present something new and innovative.

I would recommend it to anyone who likes shows such as Family Guy and or South Park but unlike those 2 shows these guys get away with so much more... Pigs with erections, cursing, nudity, lesbian raunch if you will and musical pieces that just add to the quality of this series.

It's not like it's the best series ever just really well put together and produced. It kind of went under the radar and still is very unknown but I'd go as far as saying it's a front runner in enjoyability and quality.

It has audio commentaries with the cast which are very funny and some deleted scenes. Nothing really big but still.

Episodes - 8 out of 10
DVD - 8 out of 10
Overall a good buy for only 20 bucks CDN, Comedy Central is one of the best stations for dirty shows and I thank them for that.

Yeah this show is great. Ling Ling is the best. And, yeah, i cant believe how much this show gets away with! It doesnt actuallly show th e nudity on SBS, where it is showed in AUstralia (qwithout cable) and everythinggets bleeped out. Same with South PArk when it is showed here. Darn.

Hilarious show.  They must make many more episodes of this brilliant gem.

I love this show. I've never laughed so hard when watching an animated TV show (besides Family Guy)
