I thoguht it would be interesting to review this.

It's filmed with some kind of camcorder. And 80's camcorder. And as the title suggest, it is just a load of violent shit.

Would you watch for plot? No. Would you watch it for characters? No. The only reaosn there are characters are for them to die. That's it. Watch it for the violence. The effects are amatuer but still grisly.

Basically, a man (Karl The Butcher Shitter) escapes from his van on it's way  to a mental instutute. He kills one fo the drivers when they stop for a tioelt break. And he escapes, killnig annoying people who deserve to die anyway.
SPOLIERS
At the satrt there is a boring, ten minute driving scene in which a woman drives her car.  For ten mintutes.
A gruesome death is one in which a woman is killed by KArl slicing her from the groin and up.  while doing this, Karl rips out some of ehr organs (which look suspicially like ones from a animal).

And, a poinleslly bizarre ending, in which Karl climbs into the body a rotting corpse in the middle of the woods, hanging on a cross.

Apparently Christ.

Sounds like one of those very limited release films...you know, the ones that only went to family and friends?

How'd you manage to get your hands on this movie?

I've been meaning to check out the director's work. It's supposed to be pretty grim. He's a German splatter director named Andreas Schnaas. This one in particular didn't interest me much as I figured it was just a bunch of "violent shit" as you said but his other stuff actually sounds pretty cool. In particular, he did a movie called Goblet of Gore about a cursed Viking goblet that wreaks death and destruction over the centuries. I don't expect any of his movies to be that great (or even good at all), especially since the Violent Shit franchise (yes, there's more) is supposed to be his "magnum opus", but there's a lot of hype around his name and I'm curious to see what it's all about.

I wish. My connection's way too slow. Looks like I'll have to do some searching...

Oh dear God, I remember Axe 'Em. I linked to it from somethingawful.com, and it's one of those "films" that makes you ashamed to think you actually "work" in the same industry...however, I will claim a higher league.

A thread on IMDB said that Ax Em was worse than House Of The Dead. This movie sounds absolutely horrendous! The plot sounds like every horror cliche crammed into one movie. I say no thanks.

I'm still interested in this Schnaas guy though. His stuff is supposed to be pretty trashy but I read an interview with him where he said his biggest influences were the Shaw Brothers in addition to Lucio Fulci and a lot of Italian and Spanish horror movies. Even if his stuff is trashy, at least it sounds "old school."
