I could not disagree with you more if I tried. The unverise David Chase has created is so rich and textured, there are so many layers. It's also done with such a sense of humour about itself, there really is nothing else like it. I have absolutely no idea what the hell Big Love is so I'm not gonna comment on that. Carnivale only lasted two seasons. The Sopranos has been on since 1999. But that's really not a good defense. Many shows have been cancelled before their time.

Cheers, Chism.

'Big Love' a show about a modern-day polygamist family living in Utah.  The husband, played by Bill Pullman, has to balance his time between his business and his three families.  Wife number 2, played by Chloe Sevigney, is incredible.  She's probably my favorite character on television.

'Carnivale' lost steam halfway through the second season.  It was as if they didn't know what to do with the world they created.  It was like this with 'Twin Peaks.'  The show was incredibly addictive but, once we found out who killed Laura Palmer, the show died.

Hey, I watch (or watched) those shows.

Carnivale was weird.  They couldn't make up their mind what they wanted that show to be, and it just never found its audience.  But once you started watching it you had to keep tuning in.  It seldom disappointed.

Big Love is great.  I never thought Chloe whatever was hot before, but I sure do now haha.  They have great momentum going into the next season.

But Chism has a point -- pound for pound -- season for season -- story for story -- The Sopranos kicks both of their asses.  It just does.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

What about Six Feet Under, guys?

I missed it when it was on TV here in Australia because it was on at a bad time, but I've started watching it from the beginning on DVD. So far, I've watched about seven episodes and it's pretty good.

As for Big Love I'll have to check it out, when they air it down here. I've always liked Chloe Sevingy. She was good in Kids and Gummo. I also like Bill Pullman because there's no BS about him. He was good in: Lost Highway, Zero Effect, The End of Violence and Igby Goes Down.

Is Big Love a HBO show?

Oh yeah. They just started running the latest episodes of the Sopranos down here a couple of weeks ago and it's been canned already. Luckily for me, I'd already seen them "somewhere else".

It's not TV.  It's HBO.

Get bothered. The Sopranos is well worth the hour it takes to watch an episode. It's beyond worth it, it's like unwroth it. Our time is unworthy of the Sopranos. We do not make time for watching the Sopranos, the Sopranos makes time for allowing us to bask its all of its perfect glory. PERFECT GLORY.

Cheers, Chism.
