I'll try to explain best I can here guys.

Basically I won't to end one scene with noise, a thud, which leads to a similar sound opening the next scene.

At the moment I have,

Catherine closes the diary with a...

INT. BANK

...Slam as the shutters crash down, startling everyone.


I don't think this is correct format but I'm stuck for ideas here, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Lose the ellipsis and capitalize SLAM and you've got it. Not a problem there.
