Thanks for putting this up, Don. Loretta's art work is a perfect fit for the script.

To anyone who gives this a listen, I can tell you that each part of the four-part iscript will be better than the part before. This script has turned out to be my favorite out of all the scripts that I have written.

They didn't know the melodies for my songs, but they still did a good job with them.

I hope you enjoy the iscript.

Cindy,

Hi, I'm about to listen as I write this.   If it turns into a tear jerker, I'm stopping.

I hope you listen all the way through part 4.
I think that's the best of the iscript.

Hey Cindy, is the script you mentioned to me awhile back?

Hi Cindy,

I liked listening to the script but I had mixed comments afterwards:

WHAT I LIKED:

>I liked how iScripts did this four-parter script for you.
>It sounded like you had fun doing the script; it flowed smoothly.
>I got your reference to your Coney Island short.
>My favorite line was “Hello—Hell no” by George.
>Sam and Mary were a welcome part of the ending.
>Trisha was great as trailer trash even though she was from Michigan.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:

>Roy constant talking was a negative, especially in the first 2 parts; I’d have preferred a smaller role.
>Roy’s foreshadowing of events to come was not needed
>One cliché made me grimace “click his heels”

In summary, this was a sweet movie for a sweet audience.

Gary

Hey Gary,

Yes I did have fun writing this script. I wrote this one pretty quick, too. Only a couple rewrites.

I pictured Jaime Pressly as Trisha. I think she would be great.
Roy did have a smaller part in the first draft.

Glad you thought it was a sweet movie for a sweet audience. I was going for a G or PG rating with this one.

The next one won't be this sweet. It's a Horror script, and would rate a R.

Thanks for giving this a listen.

I remember reading this one a looooooooooooooooong time ago.  I remember it having to do with --

"Possible Spoiler"

Music or sounds that brought the dead back to life or something... Well, if memory serves.   Don't know if that's still the case here, though.

"End Possible Spoiler"

Anyways, I'll give it a listen.

To be clear so people know in advance... I'm a prick and an a**hole.  I'm cynical and self centered.  I think my work is solid gold, while yours is probably junk bunk.  I wrestle pit bulls naked, kick mountain lions with my bare feet and only think to defeat...

Hey Baltis,

The one you're thinking about is "Damned Yankee". I think it is still here in the short section.

This one is a different one. Happy, funny in places (after you get through her father's death).

Hey Cindy,

I listened through your script. I only have one small complaint... there was no sex!! No one died a horrible death and there was no gore!!!

Just kidding! This was a nice story for nice people that you can watch with your whole family.

I think Mark and Lori did a great job. Especially Lori pulling off the singing and the southern accent. Although there was a difference in sound between her and Mark. I suspect he recorded his part first and she did hers at a different time.

My only complaint really would be the transitions between the four recordings. Who's responsible for that? iScript or Don? They were very rough and could have been done much more professionally.

Anyway, good work girl! Hope some Hollywood exec will listen to it while running his morning 5K on the beach!!

Hi Pia,

I'm glad you liked it.
So it was Mark and Lori who did the iscript. I was never told who recorded it.

The breaks between the four parts was done by iscript not Don. I was kind of surprised by the sound of them, too. I agree with you. I think they should have broke at the end of a scene.

As for the Hollywood executive, well, we'll see. It's been downloaded quite a bit.
I'm joking!   I know how unlikely it is, but that's okay.

Thanks for giving this a listen.

It's raining here today. Dark and dreary...
I just got home from work. I think I'll curl up on the sofa and watch some T. V. with my puppy dog.

Thanks again,

Cindy
