I'm new here (as you can probably tell) I've been writing since I was ten, but didn't start script-writing until a couple years ago. I'm TOLD I'm a good writer, but I'm not sure if that's actually true so I was really excited to find this site and getting some unbiased opinions I love skimming through the scripts that are already here and will gladly read yours if you like (be warned, I'm not much of a romance fan!) and maybe I'll post some of my work sometime, when I finally get around to finishing it xD
Hey Zack! I like writing pretty much whatever I can think up, poetry, short stories...I've tried out everything. If you mean genre, I like writing sci-fi and fantasy best, mainly because I could make literally anything happen and I love created new places, cultures, etc. or using old myths and adding my own twist to them. What are your interests?

This site is for screenplay writing. I started out the same as you... although I did experiment with screenplays, they were little better than short stories formatted with action and dialogue. To learn to write in a purely visual way is a bit of a learning curve.
Hi, Shek, nice to meet you. You have the right approach and very positive attitude. I envy you for having started when you were 10. I did a couple stories in my youth but never stuck with it. I think it gives you a great advantage. I wish you the best of luck!

Do you have a script on the site yet?
No, I don't have a script here yet, I don't have anything close to finished. I do have something about halfway done, and hopefully will have that finished soon I did take a screenwriting class at my community college, so I have an idea of hos it's supposed to be formatted, but the problem is I know that the teacher I had was super-nice so I'm concerned that she might have just been telling me I was doing it right....One of the reasons I was glad to find this site

Thanks, leitskev! I have my mom to thank, she used to create little writing assignments for me and I'd write them (for example: "write me a mystery")
